afternoon tea

source

Afternoons always call for something salty or something sweet – but always something. As of late, I’ve been on a sweet kick and as much as I love a good soy chai tea latte, I’ve got a close contender that is much lower in sugar, calories and $$. Is it exactly the same? Of course not, but you can have this every day!

Combine all ingredients for that perfect afternoon tea break.

i just made something similar the other day and loved it! haven’t thought of mixing flavors tho.

i am floored at how much money some people spend on their coffee drinks at my time at the coffee shop. there is a woman who regularly gets at $5.50 drink. that is $22.00 a week. yikes!

  5. Thanks for sharing! Looks like a great recipe!

thank you, emily! soy chai lattes are my favorite, and i would love to have a guilt-free substitution. someone recently suggested buying an inexpensive milk frother from ikea. i know it won’t be anything like the coffee shop frothing action, but if it saves me $4.20/day, it’s worth a try! can’t wait to give this a whirl.

  7. that sounds delicious! I need a sweet treat like this in my life. I have way too many snacks that make me feel guilty!
