Sunday Surf & Turf

Sometimes Sunday’s (especially rough ones) call for indulgent meals….and considering that crab was on sale this weekend it was a meal I couldn’t pass up. Crab is not something I have on a regular basis (I do live in Minnesota) but oh how I love it!!!  Some butter for the crab and sriracha (of course) for the steak!
A side of asparagus to complete the meal…

The main event…

All together now… not the prettiest of shots, but you get the point 🙂  Enjoyed with some wine and my favorite 😉

I love crab too. I get so jealous of those food bloggers who live on the coast and get to enjoy it all the time. 🙂 Oh and that chili sauce you mentioned the other day. I love it! We use Franks more often, but I am with you about putting it on just about everything.

Okay, I love your blog…and AM CRAZED about Sirachi. This weekend, I made clams and ate them up with them? I guess it's the sugar inside!

Lori – I'm with you on the being jealous of the friends who live on the coast!

Special K – so glad to hear that! Hmmm, clams with sriracha?!?!? yum! Those clams looked great by the way – clams or mussels are next on my list of "to cook"

The Actors Diet – they are SO messy, I had forgotten! We had a huge bowl of shells and its funny that you said you would only eat them in a restaurant – I said I would only eat them at home because I have no idea what I'm doing and feel like I make such a mess! 🙂

MaryBeth – I can't wait to see YOU this weekend and have some of your brushetta – I'm still not sure what I'm going to make but I will try to come up with something festive!

Delish, I love it! Have you ever had king crab? I had the honor once when I was living in Chile, lucky you that you have those kind of options available all the time 🙂
